Randall Sanders, an organizer for the Southern Regional Council of Carpenters, joined The Valley Labor Report radio show and podcast to discuss his ongoing efforts to organize the Canfor plant in DeRidder, Louisiana.
A former employee at the plant, Sanders was fired after he tried to organize a union. He’s now an organizer with the Southern Regional Council of Carpenters, where he’s leading the campaign to unionize Canfor.
